\"Blog_102014_1\"<\/a>El director de contenidos y programaci\u00f3n del CAL, Juan Jos\u00e9 T\u00e9llez, el hispanista Ian Gibson y el artista Lars Physant han presentado en rueda de prensa una serie de actividades que el Centro Andaluz de las Letras ha organizado en torno al poemario Ferias de Federico Garc\u00eda Lorca. \u201cSe trata de establecer un di\u00e1logo rico y fluido entre el manuscrito traducido al dan\u00e9s y la selecci\u00f3n de obras de la exposici\u00f3n \u2018Geometr\u00edas del alma\u2019 del pintor dan\u00e9s Lars Physant\u201d, ha manifestado Juan Jos\u00e9 T\u00e9llez.<\/p>\n

Juan Jos\u00e9 T\u00e9llez, writer and Director of Centro Andaluz de las Letras in M\u00e1laga (CAL), the hispanist Ian Gibson and visual artist Lars Physant have presented in press conference the activities organised by CAL in relation with the book of poems by F.G. Lorca, FERIAS. The purpose is to establish a rich and fluid dialogue between the original manuscript translated into Danish and this selection of paintings from the exhibition Geometr\u00edas del alma, said Juan Jos\u00e9 T\u00e9llez.<\/p>\n

\u201cPor primera vez he tenido el reto de investigar la relaci\u00f3n entre la dimensi\u00f3n verbal y la dimensi\u00f3n visual dentro de la expresi\u00f3n de la percepci\u00f3n simult\u00e1nea. Un proyecto y un concepto, dentro de la pintura, con paralelismos a la expresi\u00f3n de Peter Greenaway en el campo del cine y la video-instalaci\u00f3n\u201d, asegura Lars Physant.<\/p>\n

Ferias es el \u00fanico poemario de Lorca que tiene el car\u00e1cter metaf\u00f3rico de ser un ciclo de vida; una existencia que se inicia, que se percibe, se vive y que al final acaba. Por esto, gracias a la investigaci\u00f3n meticulosa llevada a cabo durante d\u00e9cadas por el hispanista Ian Gibson, fue posible concebir Ferias visualmente como una lectura retroactiva de la existencia del poeta incluyendo muchos elementos biogr\u00e1ficos del poeta, a\u00f1ade Physant<\/p>\n

Ferias is the only one of Lorca\u2019s poetry suites that has a metaphoric character, representing the cycle of life: an existence which begins, which is perceived, which is lived and which finally ends. Thanks to the meticulous research carried out over decades by the great hispanist, Ian Gibson, it was possible to conceive \u201cFerias\u201d in a visual way as a retroactive reading of the existence of the poet and include many biographical elements from his life, explains Physant.<\/p>\n
